Top 10 Colleges in India 2019 – Ranking is given by NIRF

A huge number of colleges participate in the NIRF ranking by filling details of faculty, placement records, a total number of enrolled students, and others details. However, a ranking is given to the college/institute based on the following parameters.

Shuffling in Ranking as compared to the previous year (2018) data

What ' s new this year? well, we ' ve found that in 2018, there were five Delhi University colleges in the NIRF list, but this year, the number of colleges have been performed well and added one more college in a top ranking row. One of the oldest government colleges of India namely Presidency College in Chennai has earned ranked 3rd in the NIRF list while it was 5th position in 2018. Delhi University ' s Miranda House has ranked a twice under the NIRF top 10 lists as the "best college in India". It got a number 1st rank in NIRF this year.
Apart from Miranda House, other five best undergraduate colleges of the Delhi University (DU) i.e. Hindu College, St. Stephen ' s College, Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Shri Ram College of Commerce and Hans Raj College has also got the best position in the top 10 list while Chennai ' s Loyola College has been ranked 6th position where Rama Krishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College, West Bengal has also secured from rank 9th to 8th position. Since, the last year ranking of St. Xavier ' s College, Calcutta was in the 17th position. Although, it has improved enough compare than last year as it reached under the top 10 best colleges in the country to attain ranking at number 10 position.
