JEE (Main) April Exam 2019:  Application Correction Process Till March 15

National Testing Agency has opened the correction window on March 11, 2019, for correction in the application for those students who are going to appear in the JEE (Main) second examination in April 2019 and want to change or correct the errors in the application form. The correction window will be remaining open from March 11 to March 15, 2019. So this, registered students are suggested to correct shortly in the application through JEE (Main)’s an official website - jeemain.nic.in, if they have/had filled up amiss details or want to change any error details. Except for the choice of cities students can correct in the application form such as name, mother's name, father's name, etc. According to NTA, The correction facility is only for one time which has been facilitated to students with the purpose to avoid any difficulties in their life.

So, students are advised to correct carefully in the application as further any chance will be not given.

NTA will conduct the second JEE (main) from April 7 to April 20 at various centres nationwide. While results for the B.E and B.Tech paper will be released within 10 days of the last exam, the result of the architecture paper will be released in May.

About JEE Main 2019

JEE-Main 2019 – The Joint Entrance Exam is India's most plausible and toughest exam to an engineering admission, it was declared by the government of India as a mandatory exam for engineering admission for an undergraduate level B.Tech / B.E. / B.Arch. programs for IITs / NITs. It has been seen that sometimes students become too scared to differentiate this exam because of confusion among two words JEE main and AIEEE. So, let's take a chance to know them.

Look, till 2001 AIEEE was the compulsory entrance exam which was conducted to B. Tech admission later become as JEE Main.

Even, you would be astonished after knowing the numbers of applicants who appear in JEE main entrance exam every year. They were counted in the previous year up to 13 lakh. However, this exam has become the first choice for the candidate who dreams to join "Top Engineering College in India". JEE Main 2019 registration has been started and application form is available at the official website of the JEE Main like nta.ac.in / jeemain.nic.in for January séance. Remember, the candidates who're interested to apply for appearing the exam must have secured at least 75% in 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Application form can be summited before 30/9/2018. However, as NTA (National Testing Agency) told entrance exam to be held from 6/1/2019.

Note: There are approx. 10% marks relaxations for SC/ST candidates, if they have 65% in the 12th class examination will be eligible to apply JEE Main Form.

Modes of Exam

There are two modes of JEE (Main)-2019, find the below with more explanations. Admission seekers need to appear in the exam accordingly.

  1. Paper-1. For B.E. /B. Tech in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only.
  2. Paper-2. For B. Arch/ B.Planning: Mathematics- Part I and Aptitude Test-Part II in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only and Drawing Test –Part III in “Pen & Paper Based” (offline) mode to be attempted on the drawing sheet.

Eligibility to apply JEE Main 2019
