Updated on Jan 23, 2020: JEE Main 2020 – The Joint Entrance Exam is India's most plausible and toughest exam to an engineering admission, it was declared by The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI) as a mandatory exam for engineering admission for an undergraduate level B.Tech, B.E., and B.Arch. programs for IITs / NITs. Previously, the entrance test for the engineering admission was conducting in name of AIEEE later it was renamed as JEE Main till 2018 the entrance exam was being organized under the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) but MHRD had introduced NTA in the year 2019 that is an abbreviation of National Testing Agency to a charge to organizing the events.
Moving forward we would take an opportunity to tell you that huge numbers approx. 7-10 lakh applicants fill the application form to appear in the JEE Main. However, it won’t astonish us that over the few years numbers of applicants has been tumble down but JEE Main exam has become the first choice for the candidate who dreams to join "Top Engineering College in India". Since there are around 31 NITs and 23 IITs in India and they all admit the student on the basis of JEE Main AIR (All India Rank) rank.

National Testing Agency opens the correction window on October 14, 2019, for correction in the application form for those students who are going to appear in the first phase examination of JEE (Main) which will be held from January 6 to January 11, 2020 and want to change/correct the errors made by the individual candidate in the application form. However, the correction window will be remaining open from October 14, 2019, to October 20, 2019. Hence, registered students are suggested to correct as soon as possible in the application through JEE (Main)’s an official website - jeemain.nic.in, if you're among them who had filled up wrong details during registration and want to make your application error-free then you are allowed till the last date as stipulated by the NTA. Except for the choice of cities students can correct in the application form such as name, mother's name, father's name, etc. According to NTA, the correction facility is only for one time which has been facilitated to students with the purpose to avoid any difficulties while participating in the exam. So, students are advised to correct carefully in the application as further any chance will not be given.

Note: Since results for the B.E and B.Tech paper will be released within 10 days of the last exam, the result of the architecture paper will be released in May.

The candidates who have been cleared 12th class examination OR another equivalent qualifying exam in 2018, 2019 and anyone who is participating own 12th class examination OR any other equivalent qualifying exam 2020 is eligible to take part in JEE Main 2020 January 2020 and April 2020.
Remember, the candidates who're interested to apply for appearing the exam must have secured at least 75% in 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The application form can be submitted before the last date. However, as NTA (National Testing Agency) entrance exam to be held tentatively from 6/1/2020.
Note: There are approx. 10% marks relaxations for SC/ST candidates; if they have 65% in the 12th class examination will be eligible to apply JEE Main Form.
The TPC stands for Test Practice Centers which was formed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) which brings up the terrific opportunity for the candidates to be part of practice sessions of taking a Computer Based Test (CBT) before the examination. However, it is a big decision taken by the National Testing Agency, Test Practice Centres have been open out across India amid highly qualified nodal officers to train the every aspiring candidate by solving their doubts.
