Sundar Raman resigns as IPL COO today, BCCI accepts resignation

NEW DELHI:  According to reports,Sundar Raman IPL ' s COO  met BCCI president Shashank Manohar on November 2, 2015 in Nagpur and submitted his resignation.
After then,  Chief Operating Officer of   Indian Premier League Sundar Raman  resigns on November 3 , 2015 and the Board of Control for Cricket in India accepted his resignation. Raman was IPL ' s COO from the inaugural edition of the league in 2008. He will step down from his position on November 5 . Raman has resigned due to pressure while his name cropped up in the IPL spot-fixing scandal in 2013. BCCI president Shashank Manohar had questioned his position as the league ' s COO after the controversy. "Raman should have gone as soon as after the Mudgal Committee report found him prima facie guilty of wrongdoings. He ought to have stepped down immediately at that time. Now, Sundar will be to restore the faith of people including  IPL and the game, Raman needs to go," Manohar had said in July.
