PV Sindhu, Nehwal entered into women’s singles semi-finals in National Badminton Championships

NEW DELHI: Indian women, Olympic medalist P V Sindhu and Saina Nehwal have entered into the women ' s singles semi-finals while Kidambi Srikanth also registered a  victory in the 82nd Senior National Badminton Championship (NBC). In the women ' s singles quarter-finals, London Games bronze medallist Saina completely defeated Aakarshi Kashyap by 21-17 21-10. In the meantime, Rio Olympics silver medalist Sindhu dint break too much sweat in beating Shriyanshi Pardeshi, winning her match 21-11 21-17. In the men ' s singles competition, India ' s top  shuttler Srikanth registered a expansive straight games victory Shubham Prajapati.
The proceedings in the quarter-finals started with the mixed doubles duo of Satwik Sai Raj R and Ashwini Ponnappa taking on Shivam Sharma and Poorvisha S Ram.
