India - Korea ink two separate agreements on varied areas

NEW DELHI: Both the country - India and Korea have inked on agreements that covers a giant spectrum in the varied areas. Some important things like- Internet of Things (IOT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data and anti-dumping are also including in the agreement.
A joint statement on the Early Harvest Package of the Upgraded Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) has been exchanged between Minister for Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu and his Korean counterpart Kim Hyun-chong. The joint statement has aimed to "facilitate ongoing negotiations on boosting the India-Korea Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement by identifying of important areas for trade liberalisation". On July 10, Monday, the separate pacts were inked between both countries- India and Korea for cooperation in adoption of biotechnology and Bio Big-Data in health, medicine, agro fishery products, digital healthcare, precision medicine, brain research, and next generation-medical equipment and scientific and technological research.
