The festival of Bakrid or Eid al- Adha is celebrating over all in India today with a large excitement. Particularly, Muslims celebrate it with happily. The children, ladies and gents wear newly dresses on the occasion of this festival and pray to God their safety. They worship to God or Allah to demanding bless.
The festival homage the eagerness of Abraham to sacrifice his son to honor his God’s order and the provision of an animal in the child’s place at the last moment.
During this time, Muslims are supposed to sacrifice an unblemished animal, usually a goat, to Allah.
One third of the beef is offered to the poor, one third given to relatives and the rest is shared among close family. The faithful hold special prayers and exchange greetings.
Government offices, banks and schools in India are closed on this day.
