Vijay Sampla Rejects statement of His Resignation as Punjab BJP Chief

NEW DELHI: Few hours after statement emerged that he has offered to resign, Punjab BJP (Bhartiya Janta Party) Chief Vijay Sampla has rejected Statement and Vijay Sampla resigned from his post. "It was all gossip and Vijay Sampla will keep on being State BJP chief," Punjab BJP ' s media advisor Vineet Joshi said. Sampla was statement upset as BJP neglected his recommendations with respect to the choice of a particular candidate for the Fagwara constituency. Sampla as well met BJP president Amit Shah on Tuesday and said that he will work for the party. Assembly elections in Punjab are planned to take place on February 4. Election to the 117-member Punjab assembly, guarantees to be three-way battle between the ruling SAD-BJP combine, Congress and the new contestant AAP.
