Today is S.D. Burman Birth day, He is known as the best music composer/director in the Bollywood film industries. S D Burman’s full name is Sachin Dev Barman, born on October1, 1906 at Comilla, Bangladesh. He was a great Indian music director. We shall never forget due to his sweet music’. His birthday celebration is celebrating today. S.D. Burman composed music for over 100 movies, including Hindi and Bengali films. Apart from being a versatile composer, He also sang songs in light semi classical and folk style of Bengal. His Son Rahul Dev Burman was also a celebrated music composer for Bollywood films. S.D. Burman ' s compositions have been mainly sung to a large extent by the likes of Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammed Rafi, Geeta Dutt, Manna Dey, Kishore Kumar, Hemant Kumar, Asha Bhosle and Shamshad Begum. Mukesh and Talat Mahmood have also sung songs composed by him. He also sang about 14 Hindi and 13 Bengali film songs. Now these day, he is not alive in this world. He expired on October 31, 1975.
