About Us

The acronym IIMR stands for Indian Institute of Management Ranchi that is identified as is a top and autonomous public business school which was founded on July 6, 2010 in the heart of Ranchi’s Audrey House Campus, Meur’s Road of the Jharkhand State.  It is the 9th Indian Institute of Management in India.

The institute is operated under the mentorships of Ministry of Human Resources Development (HRD), Government of India by extensive collaboration of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and the Government of Jharkhand

The college runs from a temporary campus in Suchana Bhavan, behind the Governor House premises Ranchi and permanent campus has begun at Khunti-Karra road of the Bihar state in 2013 which is only 35 kilometres from Ranchi.

In July 2013, Jharkhand government allotted 90.14 acres of land free of cost to IIM Ranchi at Cheri in Kanke block, 20 km from Ranchi.

Admission process at IIMR (IIM Ranchi)

  1. Admission to candidates in IIMR are conducted based on the performance of CAT (Common Aptitude Test), Written Ability Test and Personal Interview including their profile.
  2. An initial shortlist is prepared of candidates who would be eligible for Written Ability Test and Personal Interview process.
  3. Scheduled dates for PI & WAT are informed to shortlisted candidates.
  4. At last, after ending of the PI & WAT process, admission offers are announced on the basis of a merit list.

Eligibility

Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of CAT performance, work experience and Bachelor's Degree.

Fees Structures

Indian Institute of Management Ranchi fees for PGDM & PGDHRM has been determined at Rs. 1,510,000/- lakh as course fee in 2018 which can be modify at any time according to need.

  1. Selected students are required to deposit the sum of Rs.1, 00, 000/- while accepting the offer of admission will be adjusted against the 1st term fee.
  2. The caution deposit of Rs. 10,000/- is refundable at the time of leaving the institute subject to be an adjustment, if any.
  3.  The term wise amount indicated above is payable at the beginning of each term.
  4. Rs.1,00,000/- has to be paid as an acceptance fee through online payment and the balance of Rs.1,67,000/-is to be paid before the date of registration as communicated by the admission office.

Note: ** Mess Charges Institute will make mess arrangements for students on a chargeable basis. The student will have to make a payment towards mess charges @ Rs. 15,000/- per term.
