About Us

XLRI – Xavier School of Management Jamshedpur is one of the oldest private management institutes among other India's management schools which was set up in 1949 by the Society of Jesus at Circuit House Area, Jamshedpur of the Jharkhand state.

The XLRI – Xavier B. School was established with a passion to create a grand leadership, experience, comprehensive skill, innovation, and oriented education globally and internationally to its candidates through faculty expertise under various courses which have been offered by the institute. The Institute is affiliated with the Society of Jesus.

XLRI began by offering management courses and trade unions in 1949 before establishing the full-time program in industrial welfare in 1953. It got a new name as Xavier Labor Relations Institute in 1955.

XLRI campus sprawling with an area of 40 acres of land was ranked as top 8th among management schools in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2022.

Admission Procedures 2023

XLRI – Xavier School of Management Jamshedpur accepts the XAT 2023, and GMAT exams in order to admission for a management course. Candidates on the basis of test scores.

Later, shortlisted candidates are selected for final admission after successful completion of WAT, PI, and GD interviews.
