About Us

S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research is properly known as short name   SPJIMR is one of the top and a constituent business school of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. It was set up in the year 1981atb near Munshi Nagar, Dadabhai Road at Andheri West of Mumbai. The business school was inaugurated by British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher which campus has been spread in the area of 45 acres of land. 

The institute was named after Sahu Shreyans Prasad Jain of the Sahu Jain family, who supported the institution as finance in its initial stage. During its establishment, the institute was among the three management institute in Mumbai of the Maharashtra state. The institute is affiliated with Indian Universities and has got approval by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for PGPM, FPM, and PGDM.

Admission procedure

Admission for the various programmes in SPJIMR is given based on the Common Admission Test (CAT) based exam.  Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their performance. Later, shortlisted candidates are invited to be appearing in written Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview for final admission. 

Eligibility Criteria

 Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 5 years of work experience after graduation.
