About Us

Ghanshyam Das Rungta Educational Society was established in the year 1997 while the Ghanshyam Das Rungta Foundation was established in the year 2008 which was aimed to generate professional person to fulfill the differences between the demand and supply by skilled professionals in the industry. 

Rungta College of Engineering & Technology, Raipur was Established in the year 2009 located at Veer Savarkar Nagar, Raipur of the Chhattisgarh state. The Lush Green Campus of the RGI is sprawling in an area of 150 acres of land.

Rungta Group of Institutions Raipur is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Chhattisgarh. The institution, affiliated by Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai, has ranked 75th - 100th Band by NIRF, Ministry of Human Resources, Govt of India in 2017.

Admission Process

The college conducts admission to students on the basis of Rungta Common Entrance Test (RCET Exam).

Eligibility

Candidates should be passed standard 10th from any recognized board with minimum 40% marks.

Students who have completed ITI Course or passed class 10+2 with science stream (PCB / PCM) are also eligible for Diploma Polytechnic Course.

For undergraduate based program you need to have completed class 12th with P.C.M subjects.
