About Us

St. James College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chalakudy was set up in 2004 and is a private self-financed pharmacy college. It is located at River Bank, Chalakudy, Kerala, India. The college is a Government of India –National Commission for Minority Educational college as per notification declared this institution as a Minority Educational Institution covered under article 30 of the constitution of India.

This college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. Also, this college is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and the department of scientific and industrial research by DST New Delhi.

The college is offering B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy, and Ph.D. This college provides facilities like infrastructure, an herbal garden, classrooms, laboratories, workshops, instrument rooms, a Drugs Information Center, a hostel, computer labs, etc.

Admission Criteria

1. A candidate must be passed the intermediate (12th) examination with an aggregate of 50% marks overall and 50% marks in the optional subject.
2. HSE/CBSE/ICSE Examinations with Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology as optional subjects.
