About Us

Saroj Mohan Institute of Technology, Hooghly was founded in the year 2003, and SMIT is presently operating as a combined venture with the Techno India Group. It is located at Hooghly, West Bengal, India.

SMIT college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education New Delhi, Directorate of Technical Education, and is affiliated with Kalyani University Nadia and West Bengal State Council of Technical Education.

It provides courses like B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and  Electronics & Communication Engineering,  Diploma in Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and  Electronics & Communication Engineering, MBA, BBA, and BCA.

The College campus provides facilities like Library, Hostel, Common Room, Computer Centre, Playground, Multi Gym, and 24 X 7 Medical Assistance With Ambulance Facility.
