About Us

Murshidabad College of Engineering and Technology was established in the year 1998 by Dr. Asim Kumar Dasgupta, Hon'ble Minister-in-Charge, Finance, Government of West Bengal, and is promoted by Murshidabad Zilla Parishad (MZP). It is a government-aided college located at ITI More, Raninagar, Banjetia, Berhampore, West Bengal.

MCET is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE New Delhi) and is affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, formerly known as the West Bengal University of Technology.
