About Us

Majhighariani Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) was set up in the year 1999 and is situated in Sriram Vihar, Rayagada, Odisha, India. This college was established by the Basantdevi Charitable Trust. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the government of Odisha and is also affiliated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute. It offers courses B.Tech in Biotechnology, Civil engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
