About Us

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Amritsar is the 15th B-School of the IIMs. It was inaugurated by Surjit Singh Rakhra, Minister of Higher Education and Languages, Punjab on 6 August 2015 set up by the IIM set up by the Ministry of Human Resources Development of India. The first class was started for 2015-2017. The campus IIM Amritsar, Punjab covers almost 60 acres. After passing one year, in June 2016, Honorable Finance Minister Arun Jaitley laid down the foundation stone for the campus. Till date, IIM Amritsar run under mentorship of IIM Kozhikode. Though, it is temporarily located in Government Polytechnic College, Amritsar, Punjab.

The IIM Amritsar is committed to educate the aspirants’ world class management skills so as they can meet the requirments of enterprises across sectors by showing their intellectual. With this vision IIM Amritsar is being recognized as Top MBA College (B-Schools) in India.

Admission Policy

Generally, IIM Amritsar applies two-stage selection process to select the candidates for the admission into postgraduate programme in Management. All the admission seekers are required to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria. Check below the eligibility.

IIM Amritsar students has achieved milestone they had bagged Rs. 54 lakh by Tolaram Group in 2018, Rs. 18 lakh by ICICI Lombard. Average annual salary was scaled up to Rs. 11.93 lakh.
