IIM Shillong which comes with excellent aura in terms of education and disciplines, and committed to fulfill its goal that is to earn fame worldwide among leading B-schools.

The institute is currently functioning from a temporary campus in the Mayurbhanj Complex. But, work is continuing on the 120-acre site for the permanent campus.

Admission Process

Admissions for the Post Graduate and Fellow programmes are performed through Common Admission Test (CAT). After CAT exam, candidates are short listed according to their performance.

Short listed candidates have to mandatory for appeared in Group discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT).

Eligibility

Candidates must have minimum 50% scores in Bachelor of Degree for general categories while minimum 45%  scores is mandatory for reserve categories.

Admission to candidates for EPM and EFPM is considered based on CAT Exam, GMAT, GRE score.

Apart from this, academic performance, work experience, and letter of recommendation are also mandatory during admission.

IIM Shillong Placement Cell is a kind of chain that joins the relation between entrepreneurs and its students with intent to provide the best job placement whereby candidates could build their sparkling career in future.

Internships for the candidates are conducted by the institute in summer vacation with view to make enable to fulfill requirement in the field of management on the globally and nationally.

Various entrepreneurs are invited by placement Cell which is organized by institute and they visit at the institute every year to hire excellent students.
