About Us

Indian Institute of Carpet Technology, Bhadohi was coined in 2001 that is popularly known as IICT, Institute is affiliated with U.P. Technical University & AKTU, Lucknow, and is approved by A.I.C.T.E. The institute is also a member of I.S.T.E. and CII and is recognized by Textile Institute, Manchester, UK.

 The Institute is equipped with the latest machines, plants, looms, and other infrastructure for running the courses. The campus of IICT, Bhadohi is spread over 10 acres of land comprising of State of an art Administrative building with space for Classrooms, Laboratories including a Computer lab with its own V-SAT facility, Conference Hall, Library, Design Studio, Museum, and Workshop.

IICT, Bhadohi, which is 45 km away from Holy City Varanasi and 75 Kms from Allahabad. The campus of IICT is about 4 Kms from Bhadohi Railway Station located at the outskirts of Bhadohi town on Varanasi- Bhadohi Main Road and is free from pollution providing a peaceful atmosphere for studies and research.
