About Us

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University properly known with the short name GGSIPU is a Government University was established in the year of 1998 situated at the Sector 16 C, Dwarka of the national capital. The GGSIPU was set up with a huge aspire to provide acute and oriented education in the field of postgraduate and undergraduate engineering course.

The University delivers various courses like , PG Diploma, M.Phil., M.Ch., medicine, Pharmacy, nursing, law and PhD courses. Apart from these courses, it offers Undergraduate level B.Tech Course in Architecture Engineering Course, Biotechnology Engineering Course, Civil Engineering Course, Computer Science Engineering Courses and Electrical Engineering courses.

GGSIPU is affiliated by the University Grants Commission of India (UGC) and is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).  Admission to students is taken on merit based.

Admission into Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and its affiliated colleges will be based on entrance exam.

In fact, the training and placement division have prominent role in the respect of job placement as the division connects relationship between candidates and entrepreneurs to imparting full-fledged assistance during campus selection. The division interacts with varios entrepreneurs at college campus every year with view to furnish job opportunity for the student.

Internship to the student is conducted in summer vacation. Many candidates of the University have acquired good job in the field of multinational companies, government sector / private sector.
