About Us

Government Engineering College, Bhuj was founded in 1994 and this is the only Government institute in the Kutch district with the aim of imparting undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various fields of engineering and technology.

This college is providing Bachelor's degree programs in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environment Engineering, and Mining Engineering, and Master's degree programs in Mechanical Engineering (Automobile Engineering) and Electrical Engineering (Power System Engineering).

GEC, Bhuj is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, and affiliated with Gujarat Technological University(GTU), Ahmedabad, Gujarat which is administered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
