About Us

Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology, Kamrup Metropolitan was coined on September 2006 under the Shrimanta Shankar Academy Society's patronage to provide a sound education that produces competent professional men's power. This college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated with Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU).

Facilities:-
Central Library, Computer Center, Hostel, Laboratories, Transport Facilities, separate Boys and Girls Common room

Eligibility for UG Courses:-
A UR candidate must have at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2, and SC & ST candidates must have 40%. The candidate's age should be between 17 and 21.

Eligibility for PG Courses:-
The UR candidates must have at least 50% marks in their Bachelor's degree and SC & ST candidates must have 45% marks in their Bachelor's degree.

Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology, Kamrup Metropolitan has a good placement record as well as a competitive environment where students can compete with others to learn and be the best version of themselves. The college has its individual placement cell to guide its students in a good manner so that the students do not have to face difficulties to get their dream job. The Cell is actively working on organizing training programs, workshops, seminars, pre-placement talks, summer placements, etc.
