Dumka Engineering College, Dumka was established by the Government of Jharkhand in 2013 but it is run by Techno India under PPP,  it is a private self-financing institute. It is located at Anandi, Ormanjhi, Ranchi, Jharkhand. 

DEC is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi, and affiliated with Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi, Jharkhand.  Dumka is the 2nd Engineering College in Jharkhand Accredited by NAAC

It is offering professional courses like B. Tech in Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
