College of Engineering Muttathara was set up in the year 2016 and is the ninth Engineering College under the Co-operative Academy of Professional Education. It is located at Vallakadavu P.O Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. It is a government engineering college. This college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, and is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
