This college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated with the Kerala Technological University(KTU), Kerala.

Carmel College of Engineering & Technology, Alappuzha is offering B. Tech in Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
