About Us

Bakhtiyarpur College of Engineering, Patna was formed in 2016 and it is a government college. The college approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna. Bakhtiyarpur College of Engineering is known as BCE and it is one that was formed with six new Government Engineering Colleges established by the Government of Bihar under the Department of Science and Technology.

The college had started its first academic session in the year 2016-17 from old campus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Patna. Bakhtiyarpur College of Engineering has four engineering branches like computer science engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering & electronics – with an intake capacity of 60 each branch. However, BCE Bakhtiyarpur’s new campus at Bakhtiyarpur was inaugurated on 2/2/2020. It is about 3.5 km from Bakhtiypur Railway Station by road.
