MHT CET 2023: Application Form, Important Dates, Exam Dates and Eligibility

The MHT-CET 2023 or Common Entrance Test of Maharashtra is a state level entrance exam conducted once in a year by the Government of Maharashtra Directorate of Technical Education aiming to offer admissions into Engineering, Non-engineering (Diploma/Undergraduate), Pharmacy, MCA and its other allied courses.

Overview

The State Government of Maharashtra has been established the foundation of "ADMISSIONS REGULATING AUTHORITY AND STATE COMMON ENTRANCE TEST CELL" according to the provisions of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions & Fees) Act. 2015 (Mah. Act No. XXVIII of 2015).

Students are bound to appear in the MHT CET Exam who want to gain admission into first or direct admission for fulltime professional course such Polytechnic, B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, D.Pharmacy, Architecture, Hotel Management, and Catering Technology, B. Sc. (Honours) (Agriculture) / B.Sc. (Honours) (Horticulture) / B.Sc. (Honours) (Forestry) / B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) / B.Tech. (Food Technology) / B.Sc. (Honours) (Community Science) / B. Tech. (Bio-Technology) / B.F.Sc. (Fisheries) / B.Sc. (Honours) (Animal Husbandry).

Note – All the admission for 2023 session in the state shall be given to the aspirants as per the MHT CET norms.

MHT CET Application Form 2023

For you to appear this exam, it won't astonized that you'll have to apply application form. However, here're the updated details of the MHT-CET 2023. Though, online registration of application will be started from starting the month of May 2023 (tentative). Students are suggested to upload their all required documents on the official website.

How To Apply MHT CET Application Form 2023? Check All the Easiest Steps

There’re quite simple steps to follow while applying for the MHT-CET 2023.

Step 1 - Visit the official website and find the link for New registration.

Step 2 - Click on the link you’ll get a form with required (personal details, academic, contact, bank and other details which are belonging you) fields.

Step 3 - After submitting the details, the crucial and credential thing comes to you i.e. password generation, you must generate the uncrack-able password to keep it safe. Don’t share this password with anyone.

Step 4 - Image submission comes with more valuable step, however, in this process applicants are required to upload clear own photo and signature under 50KB, more than this size is not acceptable.

Step 5 - Payment process is the last step after fulfilling all the process, the applicant can make payment via credit/debit card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), IMPS, Netbanking, Cash cards/mobile wallets.

Important note- DTE Maharashtra may conduct MHT CET 2023 online. The authorities have invited students for feedback regarding the mode of the MHT CET 2023.

Eligibility for MHT CET 2023

Do you want to appear in MHTCET 2023? Before going to registration for Common entrance exam in Maharashtra, you all need to check eligibility criteria. The eligibility is containing many terms & conditions like from where you belong?, Age of the applicants, and academic marks. Age Criteria No age limit for appearing*
For General Applicants Candidates should have a minimum 50% aggregate marks in  12th or equivalent exam from a recognized Board/ University with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
For ST/SC Applicants (Who comes under reservation category sanctioned by the Govt.) Candidates belonging from SC/ST/OBC categories must have 45% and above in class 12. (5% relaxation)
Special Provisions Students who’re appearing 12th final examination are also eligible to appear MHT CET 2023

MHT CET Admit Card 2023

State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra (DTE Maharashtra) holds authority to issue MHT CET admit card for 2023. All the candidates who had registered successfully application form they will get admit card in April 2023 to seat in the entrance exam. However, the date for the issuing MHT-CET 2023 admit card hasn't confirmed till date.
