The MHT-CET 2025 or Common Entrance Test of Maharashtra is a state-level entrance exam conducted once a year by the Government of Maharashtra Directorate of Technical Education. It aims to offer admissions into Engineering, Non-engineering (Diploma/Undergraduate), Pharmacy, MCA, and its other allied courses.
The State Government of Maharashtra has established the foundation of the "ADMISSIONS REGULATING AUTHORITY AND STATE COMMON ENTRANCE TEST CELL" according to the provisions of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions & Fees) Act. 2015 (Mah. Act No. XXVIII of 2015).
Students bound to appear in the MHT CET Exam who want to gain admission into first or direct admission for full-time professional courses such as Polytechnic, B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, D.Pharmacy, Architecture, Hotel Management, and Catering Technology, B. Sc. (Honours) (Agriculture) / B.Sc. (Honours) (Horticulture) / B.Sc. (Honours) (Forestry) / B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) / B.Tech. (Food Technology) / B.Sc. (Honours) (Community Science) / B. Tech. (Bio-Technology) / B.F.Sc. (Fisheries) / B.Sc. (Honours) (Animal Husbandry).
Note – All admission for the 2025 session in the state shall be given to the aspirants as per the MHT CET norms.
For you to appear for this exam, it won't be astonishing that you'll have to apply application form. However, here are the updated details of the MHT-CET 2023. Though, online registration of applications will be started from May 2025 (tentative). Students are suggested to upload their all required documents on the official website.
There are quite simple steps to follow while applying for the MHT-CET 2025.
Step 1 - Visit the official website and find the link for New registration.
Step 2 - Click on the link you’ll get a form with the required (personal details, academic, contact, bank, and other details that belong to you) fields.
Step 3 - After submitting the details, the crucial and credential thing comes to you i.e. password generation, you must generate an uncrackable password to keep it safe. Don’t share this password with anyone.
Step 4 - Image submission comes with a more valuable step, however, in this process, applicants are required to upload clear own photo and signature under 50KB, more than this size is not acceptable.
Step 5 - The payment process is the last step after fulfilling all the processes, the applicant can make payment via credit/debit card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), IMPS, Netbanking, Cash cards/mobile wallets.
Important note- DTE Maharashtra may conduct MHT CET 2025 online. The authorities have invited students for feedback regarding the mode of the MHT CET 2025.

State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra (DTE Maharashtra) holds the authority to issue MHT CET admit cards for 2025. All the candidates who had registered successfully application form will get an admit card in April 2023 to sit in the entrance exam. However, the date for the issuing MHT-CET 2025 admit card hasn't been confirmed.
