Warrior attack on Jammu police station;two killed, nine injured

A CRPF IndianJawan and a civilian were killed in aWarrior attack on a police headquarters in Jammu ' s Kathua district too soon weekday. An encounter is afoot at Rajbagh police headquarters, some 15km from the international border. 8 security personnel -- 7 from the CRPF, 1advocate -- and 1civilian were injured within the attack. Reports aforesaid some attackers were within the police headquarters and believed to be holding hostages.

Kathua deputy commissioner ShahidIqbal aforesaid concerning four militants launched the attack. "Six policemen were within the station... A CRPF unit is stationed on the primary floor of the police headquarters. A CRPF man announces as lookout of the station was shot dead by the terrorists. “This is the primary major assault within the militancy-hit state following the formation of a PDP-BJP coalition government.

A senior law officer aforesaid, "Militants used automatic weapons and hurled grenades at the Rajbagh police headquarters in Kathua district." Security forces and police groups have rush to the spot, and district authorities have closed traffic on National road one in Jammu. The deputy commissioner conjointly aforesaid the police headquarters had been cordoned off. Home minister Rajnath Singh spoke to the DGP of J-K and also the heads of different security agencies regarding the attack, consistent with a ministry tweet

The Union Home Minister has educated the house Secretary to actively monitor the case. The MHA is to bear with the agencies of J&K. Former J-K chief minister Omar Abdullah tweeted, "These Fidayeen can have walked across the border last night & launched their attack this morning that is that the past pattern in addition."
