SP chief Akhilesh Yadav announces candidates list today, Shivpal Yadav gets ticket

Akhilesh Yadav on Friday announces party’s first
list of 191 candidates for the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh state, in which Akhilesh’s uncle Shivpal Yadav has been also included.
Shivpal Yadav will contest from Jaswant Nagar constituency while mafia-turned-politician
Atiq Ahmad ' s name has been
deleted from the list.
The party has given ticket to Hassan Rumi for Kanpur Cantt seat in place of Atiq Ahmad.
Top leader of the Samajwadi Party Azam Khan will contest from Rampur seat while Rajkumar Bhati will contest from Dadri seat.
Samajwadi Party leader and Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Naresh Agrawal ' s son Nitin Agrawal has been given ticket from Hardoi constituency while Azam Khan ' s son Abdullah Azam has been fielded from Suar (Rampur) seat.
It is the first list after a big fighting between Akhilesh and his father Mulayam Singh Yadav over party symbol
' Bicycle ' .
SP leader Kiranmay Nanda said that his party may offer
54 seats to the
Congress where it won or secured second spot in the previous assembly election.
Nanda said that party ' s first preference is to defeat Bhartiya Janta Party adding that the alliance has not broken.
