Today on Sunday Shashank Manohar (58 years old) becomes
new president of BCCI (
Board of Control for Cricket in India).
Shashank Manohar was born on September 29, 1957, Nagpur, India, He Preceded by Jagmohan Dalmiya
Mr. Shashank Manohar giving priority on maintain to discipline in BCCI. He was chief of BCCI from 2008-2011.
He promised that board will work in transparent manner under his leadership.
The BCCI is very serious about tackling the evil of match-fixing, he said.

- BCCI to frame regulations with regards to conflict of interest of administrators, players and their staff.
- An investigation agency in consultation with government to tackle match-fixing will appoint by BCCI.
- BCCI pays money every year to State association will be made accountable, Board appointed an independent auditor to audit their accounts.
Shashank Manohar declared today that any expense of more than Rs. 25 lakh by the Board will be published on their official website and also the annual balance sheets.
According to Shashank Manohar , the board is planning to have an Ombudsman or an Ethics Officer independent of the Board who can take care of complaints regarding Conflict of Interest.
