Rio De Janeiro: Indian badminton Kidambi Srikanth and PV Sindhu both of them have won their matches on day 10th of Rio Olympics 2016 to advance into the quarter-finals while Vikas Krishan ejected .
Srikanth, who was up against world No. 5 Jan Jorgensen of Denmark, maintain a 21-19, 21-19 win in a tight 42-minute contest to keep the medal hopes alive. India has showcased incredible defensive skills during the match on 11th-ranked. PV Sindhu too dominated throughout her match against Chinese Taipei ' s Tai Tzu-ying, a match she won in straight games 21-13, 21-15 and booked her spot in the quarter-finals of the women ' s singles badminton event. Although, Vikas Krishan ' s campaign came to an end as he lost to his formidable opponent. The Indian boxer was up against Uzbekistan pugilist Bektemir Melikuziev in the quarter-final bout of the men ' s middleweight (75kg) category. Vikas proved to be a no show and lost the match 0-3. Vikas was the last boxer to be knocked out of the mega event after Manoj Kumar and Shiva Thapa.
