Recruitment open for Security officer post at CBI; Exam date, Apply process, Eligibilities, Exam Centers

NEW DELHI: Central Bank of India (CBI) has invited application for recruitment to 17 Security Officer posts (SOP) in Middle Management Group, Scale-II (Specialist Category). Those candidates who have interested in this post can apply till 1 January 2018. The recruitment examination for the post will be held on January 28, 2018. Apply process: ' Candidates belonging to reserved categories are free to apply against vacancies announced for Unreserved/General category provided they meet the eligibility criteria laid down for General Category candidates, ' reads the job notification. Official job notification is available at centralbankofindia.co.in. Eligibilities: Candidates with a degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government and Ex-Commissioned Officers of the Rank of Captain or above from Indian Army with minimum 5 years ' service or equivalent rank from Air Force, Navy and Para Military Forces are eligible to apply. The maximum age limit for applicants is 45 years. ' Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory. All educational qualifications mentioned should be from the university recognized by Govt. of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies and the results should have been declared on or before 30.10.2017, ' clarifies the Bank about educational qualification. Applicants should note that the result of the qualifying degree must have been declared by 30 October 2017. Candidates will be selected on the basis of online exam and interview. The exam will comprise of questions from the stream, computer knowledge, banking, present economic scenario and general awareness. Exam Centers: The online exam will be held at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopal, Chennai, Chandigarh, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai & Patna Centers.
