RBI governor Raghuram Rajan warns against loans for ‘useless’ degrees

DELHI:- Raghuram Rajan who is Reserve Bank of India governor said on Saturday that all efforts should be begin to make the best quality for higher education and warned to students to be alert from dishonest schools that left ex-students with high debt and useless degree.
Governor, Rajan told at commencement ceremony of Shiv Nadar University while banks must be alert to ensure that student loans were repaid in full, if they are suffering from poverty and have needed to concession. He said, ' ' We have to be careful for paying students loans are repaid in full, those are undergoing from poverty or who take low-paying public service jobs’’.
