Army attack police station in Indore, 5 police officers wounded

Indore: Army jawan attack police station at Indore in Madhya Pradesh today in which at least seven police were wounded including a lady officer.

This incident took place while more than 100 army jawan disturbance a police station early in the morning at Vijay Nagar police station.

The army community banged the policemen and snatched away the service rifle. They also damaged vehicles those were parked on the premises.

According to information, the incident hold due to controversy between a police patrol squad and a few army jawans that took place  last night near a bar in Vijay Nagar.

Superintendent of Police O P Tripathi said that the army personnel came by bikes and in four wheeler from Mhow Cantonment area and attacked hardly into Vijay Nagar police station around 5 am.

They entered different rooms of the police station and destroyed windowpanes, computers and other material.
