Micromax Bharat 5 launched in Gurugram today with priced at Rs 5,555

NEW DELHI: The Micromax Company launched the Bharat-series in 2016 targeted to making 4G VoLTE more accessible to people of India. After commencing the Bharat 1, Bharat 2, Bharat 3 and Bharat 4, the company is ready to launch the Bharat 5 at an event in Haryana’s Gurugram on December 1 (Friday) now. The company claims that the new smartphone is ready to provide the feature with a dual 5MP camera setup at the back.
Micromax had launched its Bharat 2 in india in the month of April. The smartphone debuted with 4G VoLTE support with price of Rs. 3,499. In September, Micromax launched the Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 with Android 7.0 Nougat and localised features such as support for 22 Indian languages. Bharat 3 priced at Rs. 4,499 and the Bharat 4 had launched with a price of Rs. 4,999. Micromax was once India’s second-largest handset company, but in the recent years, the company has lost its market share to strong competition from Chinese players like Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivoamong others. Further, it’s being speculated that it will be priced between Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 10,000.
