“Baghel has worked for more than 32 years and has earned a salary of more than Rs 50 lakh, but his assets far exceed his known sources of income,” he said. “During the raid at his three-storied house in Indore’s Annapura Nagar, spy found more than Rs 60,000 in cash, jewellery, three high-end cars, including an SUV vehicle.
“The team digs out documents of two bank locker sin Indore and Rewa in which he is believed to have kept jewellery. The interiors of the house is luxuriously done up and is worth more than Rs 1 crore,” said Daulat Singh, deputy superintendent of police, who led raid in Indore.
