Live: Samajwadi Party tussle continue in Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh meets Mulayam today

NEW DELHI: The ongoing struggle between the two groups of Uttar Pradesh ' s ruling Samajwadi Party is continuing till now.
In a big run in the Yadav family tussle, sources close to party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Tuesday said that his argument to claim the party symbol
' cycle ' is strong. He also said that he had only followed the party constitution and had the sole right to call the national convention.
Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh yadav and his son Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, both of them faction had approached the Election Commission to meet him on Monday.
They claimed that removing the disqualification was conditional and it was decided that they won ' t conduct the national convention.
According to the party ' s constitution, only the president has the rights to call the convention and not the disqualified members.
