LIVE | PM Modi meets Theresa May in London, to address Indian diaspora soon


NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in London on April 18 (Wednesday) on his four-day visit to the United Kingdom. PM  Modi held bilateral interacts with his British counterpart Theresa May ahead of Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

During his visit, PM Modi shall attend a special technological event which will be hosted for him by Prince Charles. UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson warmly welcomed PM Modi at the Heathrow airport.

Johnson said that he was ardent for the development of India-United Kingdom bilateral trade and the visit will collaborate us to build on “huge economic advantages”.

Prince Charles will arrive at the event venue in a Tata electric Jaguar. India’s Prime Minister Modi would be participating in the 885th birth anniversary of social reformer Basaveshwara in the London Borough of Lambeth on April 18.
