Jodhpur Court: Bollywood Salman Khan gets bail in blackbuck poaching case


NEW DELHI: Bollywood actor Salman Khan was on April 7 (Saturday) gets bail who was convicted in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. He was spent two nights in Jodhpur Central Jail after pronouncing sentence which was linked with blackbuck case.

Although, The Jodhpur court stated that if Bollywood star Salman Khan wants to travel abroad after getting bail, it would need to its permission.

In a huge number, actor’s fans were gathered outside the court premises who started to take part in celebration after a few minute when the news came at front that the actor has got bail. Crackers were burst and sweets were distributed by Salman fans on his granted bail where the Bishnoi community were disagree with the bail, have vowed to keep up the pressure.

Nonetheless, relief was not just for Salman and his fans but for family members as well. Sisters Alvira and Arpita have been camping in Jodhpur since Thursday and will now get to possibly take Salman back to Mumbai by Saturday evening.

As the actor Salman was pronounced convicted in the case on Thursday and sentenced to five years in prison. His legal team appealed for a more lenient punishment and also moved motion for bail but the matter was moved to Friday. On Friday, the judge reserved his order for one more day.

Judge Ravindra Kumar Joshi however did arrive in court and heard arguments from both sides before granting bail in the post-lunch session.
