India - Belarus inks on obligation to circulate cooperation

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on Tuesday inked on 10 obligations to develop cooperation in a range of areas. Both of them have decided to explore joint development and manufacture of military platforms, giving a fresh momentum in bilateral ties.
PM Modi and Belarus President Lukashenko agreed to focus on enhancing economic engagement between the two countries. "We will encourage joint development including manufacturing in defence sector under the ' Make in India ' programme," PM Modi said in a statement.
