New Delhi: Hyundai has launched new generation Verna in the Indian markets with two variants E and EX priced at Rs. 7.79 lakh and Rs 9.09 lakh respectively. The new-gen Verna was launched for the first time in August 2017 and since then the selling of the Verna approached at the top. Its selling is the best efficiency for the company. Till date, it has received over 30,000 bookings and 2,00,000 inquiries in India and over 10,500 Units of export order from global markets. Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Director-Sales & Marketing introduced about the new gen Verna and said, "The Next Gen VERNA is a super sedan and has established its supremacy in the market since its launch in August 2017. Features of Hyundai new Verna Car  The Verna, which is one of the high selling models from the Verna Stable was only available with the 1.6-litre petrol and diesel power-trains and now with the 1.4-L petrol, the Verna has become more accessible. The new Verna seems to be a value for money bet as it is close to Rs 2 lakh cheaper than the 1.6-litre petrol version. The 1.4 L Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine is offered with an output of 99 bhp and 132 Nm of torque. The folks at Hyundai say that the powertrain is now more fuel efficient and stands at 19.1 kmpl which is an improvement of 8 percent from before. The 1.4-litre engine will be offered with the 6-Speed manual transmission only.
