HRTC accident in Mandi, HRTC flopped into gorge more than 12 people died

There is a shocking incident for Himachal Pradesh. More than 12 people were spot deaths while at least 40 persons injured in a bus accident in Mandi of Himachal Pradesh state on Saturday.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has condolences for those people who have killed in bus accident and declared at Rs Five lakh as compensation for the kin of the deceased.
The accident occurred while a HRTC bus flopped into a deep gorge near Jogindernagar in Mandi district on Saturday night. The bus was carrying more than 52 passengers for Rekong Peo.
The accident occurred about 210 km from Shimla.
Out of the nine, eight bodies have been retrieved from the wreckage of the bus and more deaths are not ruled out as some of the injured persons were in critical condition, police said, adding 39 people have been injured.
The rescue operations are continued and injured persons have been sent to PGI Chandigarh, Government Medical College, Tanda (Kangra) and other hospitals for remedy.
