Howrah-Amritsar Express gang rape: Two Army men arrested from Guwahati airport

GUWAHATI: Police on Saturday arrested two Army men from Guwahati Airport after five days who were involved in gang rape with minor girl in moving Howrah-Amritsar Express.
The arrested jawans named Pankaj Kumar and Balak Kumar Yadav, are accused of raping a minor inside a compartment of moving Howrah-Amritsar Express on Monday.
Another Army man named Monjiris Tripathy, who is guilty for forcing the victim to use alcohol, is already in police custody.
Tripathy was arrested by GRP from Madhupur railway station the same day whereas Kumar and Yadav were since then.
The girl was found from the compartment when RPF raided the train at Madhupur station on receiving a message from RPF Howrah. Tripathy was then arrested.
