MUMBAI:-A man named Niyamat Shaikh, who claimed to be among the injured in the 2002 50 years-old Bollywood actor Salman Khan hit-and-run incident, now it has moved the Supreme Court against the Bombay High Court’s decision to relief the actor.
Niyamat Shaikh wanted the apex court to direct the actor Salman Khan and the Maharashtra government to compensate him and his family for the injuries he continued during the accident. The Maharashtra government has already challenged Salman’s relief  before the Supreme Court, which will hear the case on Friday. Shaikh’s petition could too come up for hearing on the same day. According to the victim, the High Court denied his statement made before the police and the trial court that had sentenced Salman to five years of rigorous imprisonment. Seven months later the HC set him free after the star appealed against his conviction. Shaikh called the HC’s verdict unjustified and claimed that the judicial body did not consider the prosecution’s claim that actor khan was under the influence of alcohol when he ran his SUV over the people that were sleeping on a pavement.
