Fire breaks out at Kolkata's electronics laboratory

Kolkata: A fire blasts at the area of Electronics Regional Test Laboratory located in Salt Lake City, the satellite township of Kolkata on Wednesday morning, but any injury report has not come till now, an official said.
The building was evacuated after the fire broke out in the morning.
According to fire department official, more than 11 fire tenders have been worked continuously. But fire has been controlled soon.
In a letter to the management of NIT Srinagar dated April 4, the outstation students have listed five demands that, they feel, would enable them to peacefully reside at the campus and concentrate on their studies.
