Pele had come to India in 1977 from Brazil. It was his last visit for India. While he came to India, plane’s seats were full. At that time population of players from Europe were enough who wanted to come in India.

He set up the Cosmos team  at that tme. He also expressed his internally sentiment to players those are below

I am sure in the future; India is going to have some excellent players too. I think when you have the opportunity to get experienced players, it helps your players to grow. If more experienced players come to teach the people, the quality of the youngsters will improve.

My way of thinking is if you have good team then you have a good game, if you have a bad team then you have a bad game. If you have good players you will have a good show. It will always be like that.

Football gives me the opportunity to travel all over the world, to know different philosophies of life. My father was a soccer player which gave me the opportunity play the game and become one of the best in this big sport.
