NEW DELHI: Delhi University on Saturday July 1, will announce the second cut-off list 2017. Those students, who have appeared in the examination and want to know their result, can check the list at DU’s official website- du.ac.in.
Students will get two option while they log on Du’s website from where they can check the cut-off for admissions:
- UG Admissions 2017- (Entrance Based)
- UG Admissions 2017-(Merit Based)
On Thursday, Delhi assembly passed a resolution to reserve 85 percent seats for the students belonging to Delhi in the colleges funded by the Delhi government, which are affiliated to the Delhi University (DU).
The resolution was moved by Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia.
“Delhi government, fully or partially, funds 28 of the 110 affiliated institutes. The money of tax payers from Delhi is being used to fund these colleges.
The third, fourth and fifth cut-offs will be announced on July 1, 7, 13 and 18 respectively. According to reports, the varsity has received nearly 2.2 lakh applicants to fill in 56,000 seats in its 63 colleges. Document verification and approval of admission will begin between July 18 to July 19.
Verification of documents and approval for admissions will be done between 9:30 am and 1:30 pm for morning colleges and 4 pm to 7 pm for evening colleges. “After approval of admission, the applicant has to log on to undergraduate admission portal for online payment of admission fee,” the release said.
