BSF inspector shot dead by jawan in Kerala after discussion over leave

Kerala: According to police statement, a Border Security Force inspector 45-years-old Ram Gopal Meena was shot dead a discussion over leave late by a jawan named Umesh Prasad Singh on Thursday at 11:30 pm. He had come for poll duty during the May 16 Assembly elections.
Inspector Meena from Rajasthan was shot by Umesh Prasad Singh using his service rifle, police said.
Meena was sent to a hospital, but he dead on the way.
The incident took place at least 11.30 PM in Kerala. The Border Security Force personnel, who had come to Kerala as part of central forces for posted during election, were staying at the Islamic Academy, a higher secondary school at Kottakal near Vatakara in Kozhikode district.
