BSEB results issue: FIR against VR College director including students

PATNA: A case has been registered against four students along with Director of Vishun Roy College due to irregularities in evaluation of marks in 12th exam 2016 which was conducted by Bihar School Examination Board . The case has been registered against four students, Sourabh Shrestha, Rahul Kumar, Ruby Rai and Shalini.
The development comes after; Bihar government on Monday disintegrated a committee constituted by BSEB to inquiry into irregularities.
The decision to dissolve the committee was taken after Chief Minister Nitish Kumar organize a meeting with Education minister Ashok Choudhary, Principal Secretary (Education) DS Gangwar including BSEB chairman Lalkeshwar Prasad Singh.
The Bihar School Examination Board on Saturday cancelled the result of first and third toppers in the 12th science stream as both failed their re-test and decided to give another oppotunity to the arts topper to attend for a re-test on June 11.
The Bihar government has also cancelled the recognition of VR College in Vaishali district where the two toppers were failed in the re-test.
The BSEB had decided on June 4 to cancel the results of topper Saurabh Shrestha and third topper in Science stream Rahul Kumar after they were found not up to mark during a re-test conducted by a team of experts on 13 toppers in both streams- Arts and Science of Intermediate level in the current year.
Arts topper student Ruby Rai, in an interview to media, had called Political Science as "Prodigal Science", which according to her was about cooking, and has been directed to face experts on June 11.
