Blast in North Delhi’s Naya Bazar, one killed

NEW DELHI: According to police officer statement, blast took place near Chandni Chowk market in North Delhi on Tuesday morning at around 10.30 am, in which a people killed while others several people were injured. Deceased has not been identified till now.
Delhi ' s anti-terror wing and Special cell have immediately reached at explosion spot.
Explosive materials used in making firecrackers have been found at the spot of explosion in the area. Window panes of the surrounding buildings were damaged due to the impact of the blast. The affected area has been seized by the Delhi Police.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Rajnath Singh called Delhi Police Commissioner Alok Verma and said to inquiry regarding the death of a person.
Rajnath Singh, who is in Bahrain, informed the Delhi Police Commissioner by phone to take stock of the situation in the national capital.
The Home Minister also instructed the DPC to arrest those involved in the incident and take all possible measures to ensure peace in the city.
